The Caribbean Area Presidency invites members and leaders of the area to prepare an Emergency Plan

The scriptures teach: 'If ye are prepared ye shall not fear' (D&C 38:30). The Area Presidency has designated the months of March, April and May for the preparation of individuals, families, wards/branches, and stakes/districts, to adequately respond to emergency situations that may arise.

The best time to prepare for an emergency is before it occurs. This will require individual actions, including a personal food storage program, maintaining a 72-hour emergency kit for each family member, and a family emergency response plan.

In order to support you in the expansion of your plans, we invite you to visit the official site of the area:, where you will find useful materials to use in the family or at the wards and stakes levels.
