Interfaith Easter Devotionals Strengthen Unity and Share the Message of Jesus Christ Across the Caribbean
As part of its 2026 Easter campaign, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hosted a series of interfaith mini devotionals and musical events across the Caribbean, promoting unity and reflection on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
These events took place in Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Guyana, and Haiti, involving participation from various religious organizations and reaching hundreds of individuals, strengthening interfaith dialogue and community engagement.
In Jamaica, the event was held at the Spanish Town Chapel with participation from the Greater Grace Temple Apostolic Church and the Bible Truth Church of God Inc. In Puerto Rico, the gathering took place at the Ponce Stake Center with participation from the Catholic Church. In Guyana, activities were held at the Georgetown Chapel with participation from The Salvation Army, while in Haiti the event was conducted at the Port-au-Prince North Stake Center, involving River of God Church, the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and other Protestant congregations.
Through music and Christ-centered messages, participants shared moments of faith, respect, and unity, highlighting values such as love, service, and community engagement. These initiatives created meaningful opportunities for connection among diverse faith communities.
Through efforts like these, the Church reaffirms its commitment to promoting spiritual well-being and fostering unity among different faith traditions during the Easter season.
