We are pleased to inform you that on Sunday 16th of October 2022, on the island of Aruba, two of our youth, Genesis Montero, and Justin Aviles, graduated after completing 4 years of Seminary, along with other youth who were receiving different levels of accomplishments in the program.
The certificates were presented by seminary teacher; Sister Rosmary Trillos of Aruba and Bro. Alex Munos of Puerto Rico, representing the educational system of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in the presence of families, leaders and other members of the church of the Oranjestad Branch.
The following day, on Monday the 17th of October, Sister Trillos, accompanied Brother Munos to the island of Curacao. They met with President Antonio Perez, First Counselor in the ABC District Presidency and together they presented certificates to the youth who completed the first year of seminary.
It is always important to reach our goals and celebrate especially when the accomplishment effect our spiritual progress. All year their confidence was being strengthen as the students would study about trusting in the Lord. They understood that there may be times when they won’t feel strong or capable and knew that this would be normal but as they studied, they came to the realization of the advantages that they have when they apply these gospel principles from seminary classes to their lives. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (See Proverbs 3:5-6).
On behalf of our District Leaders, we would like to congratulate all the youth, their parents and those who assisted them in completing this noble goal. “Well done thou good and faithful servant “Matthew 25:21.
